It was a huge loss when we 'On Being' stopped recording podcasts. We recently re-listened to this, from four years ago, and it's stunningly profound. A nice long conversation between Nobel physicist Frank Wilczek and Krista Tippett.

This short film by Emergence Magazine goes into the forest late at night, with folk musician Sam Lee. Sam joins the elusive Nightingale in song, and they harmonise. A story about a song that transcends the human. A very, very old song.

Each summer for more than half a century, the US ecologist and biologist David Inouye has returned to the Rocky Mountain Biological Laboratory in Gothic, Colorado. His life's work is in the pasture, studying the relationships between hummingbirds and wildflowers.
